How it works

Every casino bonus comes with a wagering requirement — the amount you must bet before you can withdraw. Because every wager loses a little to the house edge (100% minus the game's RTP), clearing a high wagering requirement has a real expected cost. Our engine subtracts that cost from the headline bonus to show what the offer is actually worth. See the Bonus Truth Rankings for live scores on real casinos, or read our wagering requirements guide.

FAQ

What is the true value of a casino bonus?

The true value is what a bonus is worth after accounting for its wagering requirement, the game RTP, and any max-cashout cap. A '100% up to €500' bonus at 35x wagering often has a negative true value once the expected cost of clearing it is subtracted.

How is bonus true value calculated?

True value = bonus + free-spin value − (wagering turnover × house edge), capped by any max-cashout. Turnover = wagering multiplier × (bonus, or deposit+bonus). House edge = 100% − RTP.

Is a bigger bonus always better?

No. A small bonus with low wagering (e.g. €30 at 6x) frequently beats a large one with high wagering (€500 at 35x). This calculator shows you which.
