What is the true value of a casino bonus?
The true value is what a bonus is worth after accounting for its wagering requirement, the game RTP, and any max-cashout cap. A '100% up to €500' bonus at 35x wagering often has a negative true value once the expected cost of clearing it is subtracted.
How is bonus true value calculated?
True value = bonus + free-spin value − (wagering turnover × house edge), capped by any max-cashout. Turnover = wagering multiplier × (bonus, or deposit+bonus). House edge = 100% − RTP.
